Due to his education and expertise, the US Army has contracted Michael to train and educate various special operations personnel on how to build and maintain excellent fitness and enhance their resilience from their very demanding lifestyle.
Michael's coaching philosophy centers around meeting his clients where they are and guiding them to success. He tailors each client's training and nutrition plan based on their unique training age, biological age, injury history, training history, athletic background, and lifestyle. Michael believes that each client should be coached differently, and to achieve this level of customization, he relies on his expertise in endocrinology, nutrition, biomechanics, anatomy, physiology, and psychology.
In his free time, Michael is an enthusiastic martial artist who practices Brazilian Jiu Jitsu religiously, as well as boxing, kickboxing, Filipino Martial arts, and Wing Chun. When not on the mats, you can find him on one of his motorcycles or taking his Jeep out four-wheeling and rock crawling.
